Join NJSAFD

Any Fire District incorporated pursuant to law and operating under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:14-70 et seq. and any successor statutes is eligible for membership. To be a member Fire District, you must be represented by Commissioners. Each Commissioner shall be eligible for election or appointment as an Executive Officer, as a member of the Board of Trustees and Committee positions. The Charter Membership fee is $100 and currently $300.00 annually thereafter. This fee covers all elected Fire Commissioners per member Fire District.

Currently, we have 125 out of 180 Fire Districts as paid members. This represents 625 Fire Commissioners.
